• Install the adapter. Remember to turn it clock wise to install it.
• Install the Clear2O® aerator. Turn your tap on slowly to check for any leaks and to make sure you have installed the adapter and aerator correctly.

• Unhook the Quick Connect hose housing on the jug and lift up the filter housing gently.
• Wash the jug and filter housing sections separately.
• Rinse your jug with water and wipe the lid with a damp cloth. Do not wash in a dishwasher.
• Rinse your filter housing section with cold water only and wipe the outside of it with a damp cloth.
• Do not at any time use cleaning agents on the filter housing section to clean it. Water will do just fine.
• Only ever use cold water, do not use water above 29oC.
• You must only use municipally treated/private well or potable water with this system.

• Pull the faucet connect and Quick Connect hose from the storage compartment on the jug.
• Connect the Quick Connect hose to your faucet with the Clear2O® aerator installed.
• Grip the connector with one hand and free hand, push down the outer ring.
• Keep the outer ring in the down position and place the connector under the faucet and push it up onto the faucet to fit securely in place.
• Open the faucet enough so that water flows through the hose and the filtration system.
• Only fill the jug to the MAX line.
• Discard the first 3 jugs of filtered water. This is to flush the system and purge the air in the filter. (This needs to be done every time a new filter is installed to ensure the filter is working at its most efficient.)
• Once the jug is filled with the desired amount of water, again push down the outer ring and then pull down connector to disconnect from the faucet.
• Wipe the connector surface to dry and insert Quick Connect hose into the storage compartment in the jug.



Quick Connect

• The filter is made from a solid block of carbon.

• Clear2O®’s Block Carbon filter is more effective as it forces the water to be filtered through a filtration system instead of relying on time based filtration. The filter works exactly like under the sink water filtration systems.
• It is more effective at removing contaminants, 53 compared to loose granular filters, which are effective at removing approximately 10 contaminants.
• Block Carbon filters have a pore size of 0.05microns, which is what the water needs to pass through before it is considered filtered.
• Block Carbon filters also last longer than loose granular filtration filters.
• It does not leave behind any residue like loose granular filtration filters may.
• It does not allow bacteria to grow as there is no sufficient room or humidity unlike loose granular filtration filters.
• Clear2O®’s Block Carbon filter is tested according to NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53. The system is tested and certified to reduce 53 contaminants and reduces chlorine taste and odour.

• The Clear2O® jug comes with one filter already installed at the factory.

• For best results, the filter should be replaced after 50 gallons of consumed water. Some older models have a filter indicator that turns red after 40 gallons of water consumption; however, the filters are now designed to filter 50 gallons of water.

• Each filter is good for 189 litres of water consumption. It will stay on the green indicator for 150 litres of water consumption than changes to yellow for the remaining 40 litres. Once the indicator turns red it is time to replace the filter. The filter indicator turns back to green each time a filter is locked into the jug, so don’t unlock the filter unnecessarily because this will reset the filter meter.

• The Clear2O® jug unit has an Intelligent Filter Indicator built into the filter cover that automatically activated the flow meter indicator and resets every time you install a new filter. This makes it easy to know when exactly to replace the filter.
• You will also notice a drop in speed in filling your jug as the filter ages.

  • Using your index finger, lift the filter lid to open
  • Turn the bar on the filter counterclockwise to the unlocked paddock system position
  • Keep turning the bar until the filter is released
  • Pull out the filter and discard.
  • To install the filter:             
  • Wash your hands with soap and water then remove filter from packing film.
  • Remove clear protective wrap from the filter
  • Using your index finger, lift the filter lid to open
  • Insert the filter with the bar arrow indicator lining up with the unlock paddock icon.
  • Turn the bar clockwise to the locked paddock icon.
  • Be sure the filter is locked in place
  • Close the filter lid
  • Flush the system and the filter with 3 full jugs.
